Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Ryan R. - |Recommended: Yesthe residents are very nice and helpful, the prices are despicable, the windows are trash and will get condensation, ice, and mold in them, the light in my bathroom decides to not work sometimes but will usually eventually turn back on, the showers are basically a lost cause, the furniture is pretty good, the gym is barebones I'd like to have some boxing equipment e.g. a heavy bag in the basketball court if you guys still wanna renovate that , the market prices healthy food too expensively which encourages you to eat the much more-stocked and less-pricey junk food, but hey, it's been agreeable IMO. Try it out for six months and see what you think.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Lindsey B. - |Recommended: YesThis is my second year living at the Union, and I really enjoy it. I like the convenience of the 24 hour market. I also like all of the amenities that are included.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Hunter J. - |Recommended: YesSame as the last review honestly.
Definitely a good view I have my fourth floor living room window right across from the mall and about 20 minute walk away from my school
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Brian A. - |Recommended: YesEverything’s smooth except the Wifi and the dirty computer lab. Room is nice, amenities are nice. Just fix the wifi honestly. It’s extremely bothersome.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Hloc*@*.Edu - |Recommended: YesThe Union at Dearborn has nice rooms in the lofts area that I live in the walls block out little noise between rooms so TVs in the next room can be heard clearly
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Claw*@*.Edu - |Recommended: YesWhen I first moved in I was concerned about meeting and getting to know other students here, but due to the Union hosting events for students to meet and grew each other that was super easy The convenience of living here for jobs is amazing You have every opportunity to workroom for Ford, plants, the mall, or even at your local grocery store. However, the main reason why I have a few issues is with regards to how a few students treat the hallways and the building as a whole. Management can try cracking down on the students that are constantly leaving a mess to prevent future incidents of the sort.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Ibti*@*.Com - |Recommended: YesNot good to live in the union most of the time they care about money more than residents themselves, i'm glad for moving to other place that is cheaper and more confy
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Sasha F. - |Recommended: YesLiving here is okay but the rent is way too expensive. The staff in the office is just plain rude for no reason at all. I can't ever take out my trash on the weekends because the chute is always overflowing. And it's so unfair and stupid that those of us who don't live in the lofts have to park in visitors parking and walk in the freezing cold with our groceries or laundry to the doors that work with our keys. And if I'm paying 700 to live here why the hell do I have to pay almost 4 dollars every time I want to wash and dry a load especially when the machines are super gross and covered with hair and mold.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Kayla M. - |Recommended: YesIt’s noisy, the maintenance is terrible, and the rent is way too high for what you get. I’ve lived here for 3 years and we’ve had 5 power outages and 2 floods in our apartment.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Sylvia R. - |Recommended: YesI have amazing roommates however, my experience here is that for what I pay to live here - I expect better. Some of us pay 700 and up and we have to pay for the laundry. It should be free. The wifi is spotty a lot of the time. It's a problem, especially when there are assignments that need to be completed online. I would just like to see a difference.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Jalen R. - |Recommended: YesThe construction going on in the building literally next to my room has been waking me up early in the morning 7-8am early since it’s started. Being in college, I’d like this time to sleep before class
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Mollee N. - |Recommended: YesMy experience at the Union has been good. It’s nice for those who go to U of M-Dearborn, because the walk is so short. I would recommend to others.
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Joseph M. - |Recommended: YesIT is super good I love it. I've never lived in such a wonderful place. It's such an honor to be living with sch capable people and to be here
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Sari K. - |Recommended: YesLiving at the lofts is of great value to the money spent, great amenities and fully furnished along with washer and dryer for independent unit use
Review From Modern Messagesubmitted by Evan H. - |Recommended: YesIt’s not bad. There are issues of the fire alarms going off and no one emailing about it the first time, the people at the front desk not listening when I tell them my name instead of just reading my ID, the noise levels of the people above me are outrageous and I can’t tell if they’re too loud or if the Floor ceiling is thin. Most of my issues are with neighbors or the staff though.
