Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThis is my first year staying here and so far it’s been great. It’s very lively around the lobby and all day through out the dorms. The people here a friendly too.
Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesI love my apartment here at the Union at Dearborn. All of the apartments are very nice and come fully furnished. I love the events that they hold at the Union for residents. It is convenient being right across from school.

There are a fair number of community events for residents. However, maintenance around the community hallways, stairwells leaves some to be desired. Workout facilities are nice. Overall satisfied.

The housing is suitable enough for college students. Easily accessible wi-fi and the convenience of a mini store are great aspects of the apartment, along with the gym.

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesIt would be nice if they could fix the noise levels, but since that’s out of their control, this place is fine for what I pay to live here. Everyone complains about the place, but it’s the cheapest thing next to the school and I don’t have to worry about a lot of things due to it being all apart of my rent. I like it here.
Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThere is an unreasonable amount of property damage from the neighbors, although that's out of the control of the Union itself. The hallways should be cleaned more. They go swaths of time between cleanings and it's occasionally embarrassing to take people around. Parking is still an issue, however. It's unreasonable that regular residents don't have access to the loft building, especially in extreme weather conditions. We don't need a key to the rooms. We just don't want to freeze to death when trying to transport groceries.
For the gripes there are to be had, there certainly are a lot of benefits to living here. The quiet is lovely for getting things done and the amenities are generally pretty great. The plows and security police patrols are regular and comforting. Maintenance response times are continuing to get shorter and shorter, which is excellent. Staff is usually very friendly and helpful to the best of their ability, and, of course, the convenience of being a 5 minute walk from the Dearborn campus is hard to beat.

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThe Union at Dearborn has been a very good experience for me. I don't have any complaints at all. There are many pluses I wouldn't find anywhere else, such as a market shop in the main lobby and free fun community gatherings. Although a little pricy the quality is definitely worth it.

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesIt’s alright. Usually dirty around the building. Nosey neighbors. Constant problems that require maintenance to come. Maintenance coming in at 8 am while I’m still sleeping, terrible food choices that are over priced, over priced shabby rooms with barely functional heating and cooling. I could continue but what’s the point.
