Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesIt's been two weeks living here at the Union. I feel it's the best place to live and study. The place is comfortable and the staff is very friendly.
Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesSo far I like living here. The units are really nice and are furnished very well. The gym is great and I love that it's 24 hours. It's also fun that there are community events. Only problems are that the apartment has smelled a little weird since we moved in and we had a fruit fly problem. The people in the office are nice and helpful, though they seem to be very busy.

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThe only issue I had with my apartment was fixed extremely quickly before I even reported it. The only problem I have is room for my bike. The bike rack on the west end of building three is filled almost always.

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesThe dorms are absolutely fantastic The fact that the appliances and living condors are included and fully furnished are great. The only thing that I believe could be improved is adding an extra shower bar to the bathrooms in the 4x2 bathrooms.

Review From Modern Message|Recommended: YesFall 2014, I was a sophomore transfer from West Bloomfield, MI. The convenience of being across the street from UMD is amazing. Also, the building is so secure and clean. Fully furnished apartments are the way to go. Not to mention all utilities and wifi are included The roommate matching does really work. I moved into a 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom blind. My roommates and I get along great, and have a lot of things in common. The Union puts on many social events for the whole building so you really get that college life experience. Also, the other residents are mostly students and are very friendly.
The only complaint I have is about the parking. Minimal parking is available in front of each main entrance. Be prepared to park in their extra lot, which is not that well lit.
